ZIALE HAS A NEW DIRECTOR
The Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education (ZIALE) has a new director. Mr Palan Mulonda was appointed new director of the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education with effect from 7th December 2009. He replaces Dr Simbyakula who was director of the institute for the past three years.
He holds a Master of International Law degree from the University of Lund (Sweden), Certificate in Legislative Drafting (post graduate), and LLB (Zambia). He is an advocate of the High Court of Zambia. His specialties include conveyancing and legal drafting, commercial transactions, probate and succession, Human rights and constitutional law.
Mr Mulonda has worked for the Ministry of Justice, Institute of Human Rights, Intellectual Property and Development Trust and as partner at Palan & George Advocates. He has also taught law at the University of Zambia.
